IBEW Local 453’s mission is to represent and support the skilled workforce of Southwest Missouri, including electricians, sign erectors, maintenance workers, expeditors, and municipal employees. We strive to promote excellence in craftsmanship, advocate for fair wages and safe working conditions, and develop the next generation of skilled tradespeople through education and training. Since 1929, IBEW Local 453 has proudly represented the skilled electrical workforce of Southwest Missouri. For nearly a century, we have stood for quality craftsmanship, workplace safety, fair wages, and the strength of union solidarity while helping build the infrastructure that powers communities across the Ozarks.
From commercial and industrial projects to public works and essential service operations, our members have helped shape the region's growth.
